New Zealand Music Month 2018

Celebrate New Zealand Music over the month of May with two separate series of events: one in conjunction with Ministry of Mind Music Ltd and Council’s Arts, Culture and Heritage Coordinator; and one with Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.

These sessions are free, bookings are not required and a caregiver is required for all children.

Christchurch Symphony Orchestra Music Trails

Music Trails through the Library are a fun and interactive way of introducing children to live music. These 45-minute interactive performances by CSO ensembles have elements of song, stories and dance, is a great opportunity for children to see the instruments up close and join in with the musical fun.
