Could you or anyone you know benefit from learning how to use eAudiobooks, eBooks, eMagazines, online tutorials, or the library catalogue – all on your smart phone, device or home computer? Did you know you can access all of the above and more for free with your library membership?

Your Selwyn Libraries are here to help!

Come along to fortnightly drop-in sessions at any Selwyn Library to learn about the eCollections your library membership gives you access to, 24 hours a day from anywhere!

These will be perfect for those who have often wondered how they can learn more from the eCollections available from the library but never had the chance to ask.

Sessions will begin the week of 12 June and be held in fortnightly blocks:

- Leeston on Tuesdays from 10.30–11.30am (first session 13 June)

- Rolleston on Fridays from 1:30–2pm (first session 16 June)

- Lincoln on Mondays from 10.30–11.30am (first session 19 June)

- Darfield on Wednesdays from 1–2pm (first session 21 June)

The first session will be about ePlatform, providing you 24 hour access to a huge collection of eBooks. Read your eBooks anywhere, any time.

The second session will be about BorrowBox, a growing collection of eAudiobooks. You can listen to over 1,000 eAudiobooks anywhere, any time!

Subsequent sessions will be about: Zinio eMagazines, PressReader, BookMyne, The Library Catalogue and Lynda.com. Check out the events on our homepage for more details and session times.

Feel free to bring your own devices, and any questions you’ve been wanting to ask your library about the eCollections.
