Mindfulness for Families

What is mindfulness and how can it help you manage anxiety?

In this free one hour workshop Neave Ross-Wallace will provide an introduction to mindfulness and how it can activate the body's relaxation system. Neave will explain how mindfulness can be used as a tool for parents to support themselves, and their children when dealing with anxiety in the family and beyond.

A qualified mindfulness trainer with experience in early childhood education, family counselling, and parent mentoring, Neave is passionate about sharing the benefits of mindfulness with you.

Come along to this free session and take home some new skills to help you and your family live more fully in the moment.

Snack Attack is back!

Healthy, quick and tasty vegetable-based snack ideas for busy people. Includes demo, tastings and recipe sheets.

Do you need some wholefood savoury snacks to replace your sugary fix and help you avoid the afternoon slump danger zone? Pasha will present a range of vegetable-based treats for you to try. Ideal for the kids’ lunch boxes, morning/afternoon tea, and even healthy party food. Come along and be inspired to revamp your snacks.

Workshop presented by Pasha Dobin from Lincoln University Recreation Centre.
