As part of NZ Library Week, at 10.30am on Wednesday 18 August, children, librarians, parents and teachers will gather in libraries all across the country for New Zealand's largest storytime.Parents, bring your children and their friends along to the library to listen to guest readers read this year's book Mr Muggs the Library Cat by New Zealand author Dave Gunson.-10 August 2010

This recently reopened branch is experiencing a boom in use - issues and foot count have increased 80 percent! The Librarian is responsible for a small team of professional staff offering library and service centre functions.
