Following a popular trial period late last year Selwyn Library is now subscribing to onlines newspaper and magazine tool PressDisplay. All Library members can access these resources (1500 daily papers from around the world) simply by visiting out ONLINE resources page and logging in with your Library card barcode and PIN. Mobile Library Dog Passes Away 
We are sad to report that Barney, the Mobile Library dog was put to sleep on the weekend after a period of ill health. Barney had travelled on the bus for the last 9 years with his owner and mobile librarian, Anita Lewis, and will be missed throughout the district. -11 January 2010
Selwyn Stroll & Chat
Next month, put on your walking shoes and join Sarah Wilson (Selwyn Active Coordinator) and Pam Fisher (Leeston Librarian) at our Leeston Library for the start of our new regular event Selwyn Stroll and Chat.
Wed 10 Feb - 10am @ Leeston Library, 45 minute walk and morning tea.
Wed 24 Feb - 10am @ Leeston Library, 30 minute walk and a talk by Sarah Wilson about becoming active in Selwyn.
